IGMF*U ("we", "us") operates this website where people submit and read short real-life stories about inconsiderate moments. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit or contribute, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Account information. If you create a profile, we store your email address, a password (hashed), and an optional display name.
• Notification preferences. Whether you have opted in to receive email notifications about new stories.
• Technical information. Basic log data your browser sends automatically (such as IP address and user agent) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To display the stories you submit on the public story wall.
• To authenticate you when you sign in to your profile.

Public content

Stories you submit are public by design. The name and location fields are optional — if you fill them in, they are displayed alongside your story. Do not share information you would not want to be public.

Email notifications

If you create a profile and opt in, we will email you when new stories are submitted. You can change this preference at any time from your profile page, or use the unsubscribe link in any notification email.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted infrastructure providers (for hosting, database, and email delivery) that process data on our behalf and only to operate this service.

Your rights

You may request that we delete your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us. Public stories you have submitted may remain on the wall in anonymized form unless you specifically request their removal.

Cookies

We use a small amount of local storage to keep you signed in to your profile. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
